The EA OD planet by Far the best in the industry. We replace the prone to breakage factory casting with Heat treated E4340. The spline is EDM cut so its a perfect fit. Then the E4340 is welded to the carrier. The pinion holes are CNC cut for perfect pin alignment. We install new tool steel threw hardened pins that have been center less ground. New pinion thrust washers with clearance set less than .006. The OD carrier is fully rebuild able.

The EA ring gear uses E4340 plate attached to the back of the stock OD ring gear. The spline area on the stock ring gear is prone to cracking and breakage in Hi HP applications. The spline is EDM cut for perfect spline alignment with the forward drum. OD ring gear is checked to have less than .0005 run out. That the tighest spec in the industry. If our ring gear does not fit our billet forward drum right the first time its Free.

- 2004R Trans Brake "Stage Right"
The Stage Right is a Manual Trans Brake. Most refer to it as the slapper brake. The Stage Right was developed and Designed by Kevin Mallender. With Kevins permission we now Make the Stage Right Trans Brake. Operation - When you pull the shifter into 1st or Low the brake sets. When the shifter is move out of the 1st position the brake releases.

Valve Body BRC
EA reproduces a copy of the Buick Grand National Valve body. We call this the BRC. I sell 75+ a year on the 2004R out the door and have every year for the last 5 years. This valve body is calibrated on an answermatic VB machine to produce the same results as the famous GM BRF that was used on the Buick GN /T-Type. The exception is we have corrected the annoying WOT shift that the BR has that will cause the trans to shift on kick down from 3rd or 2nd to 1st at too high of RPM then shift right back into second. This VB package will shift exactly like a BR with the exception noted. Shifts are from 4800-5200. Shift Kit built into Valve Body. The VB package will convert any 2004R to BR specs. No need to hunt down that hard to find and expensive BR or CZ transmission core. You will need a BR or Billet Servo. Kit includes:
